Agreed on purchasing this 560 around July 4th. Waited to post on it, after I got it home. Didn't want someone to swipe under my nose. Owner parked it November 2014 when he noticed coolant in oil. It was parked outside, somewhere rain/snow ended up in the engine. Clear water came out then motor oil when I drain it. So I purchased some Kroil, and I'm going to put Kroil in the cylinders. Paid a decent price the tractor. Once I get the engine unstuck, I'm going to get it running and check if there's a cracked block/head. I'll know while running the tractor with the radiator cap off, and watch for any bubbles bubbling up in the radiator.

Hello over the years I have used distilled white vinegar to free stuck engines works good but it will
freeze also after you get it free oil the cylinders as it will rust another thing that I have used is atf
mixed with acetone 50 50 work great on rusted bolts ect, I have not tried yet on a engine but it should
work very good ,.. Bryan

My advice to you is this. If that engine has been setting with water in it for two years and it has froze inside you just may as well get the tool box out and start twisten wrenches now . For what it takes to pull that engine apart is only a couple hours of work . and if you are lucky where i am usually not you will be able to free it up faster then waiting on some magic liquid to do the work for you and all you will be out is a valve grind gskt kit . But with me i would probably find a couple freeze broken cylinder holes and be looking at either a replacement block or at least boring a couple holes out and pressing in repair sleeves and a total rebuild. Real easy to pull the head , remove the sheet metal loosen the back bolts that hold the fuel tank to the dash support remove the bolts holding the tank to the bell housing and lift it up place a 4x4 under it and pull the head. Your going to end up pulling the head at some point in time so might as well geter done now.

Good advice. That's what I'd do. No sense waiting for the inevitable. At minimum, you've got a bad head gasket anyways. So - I'd just rip it apart and see.

Plus you'll see all the other potential bad news right away - worn cylinders - need for a valve job, etc.

Engines free up a lot quicker with a block of wood on each piston - tapping them with a 3 pound hammer. You can still soak them.
