Investigated an old IH work shop the other day. Loads of crawler parts but also some farm implement parts. Can you help me id this red stuff? Worth taking care of?

That red piece in the middle picture looks like a hyd hose holder for the M,To keep the hose's together, away from your feet, above the transmission, but looks like it to many holes in it, so not sure.

I certainly wouldn't scrap it, that's for sure. looks like a lot of good parts there, gears, water pump housings, etc.

You could probably sell them online as people are always looking for parts.

Reminds me of the old shop I found around 15 years ago. The widow sold me all the stuff on the shop for one lot price. The man had died 25
years before and it had not been touched. Manuals were still open on the work bench just as he left them. Took 3 loads on my 16 ft trailer to
get all the stuff. I sold parts mostly on eBay and some at shows for several years and got an education on how to ID parts in the process. I
still have some parts, but most of the good stuff is gone. It was mostly ih stuff. There was everything from plow shares to engine sleeve kits in
there. It looks like you have found a similar situation. It's time consuming and a lot of work to ID parts and post for sale. If you don't want to do
that there is someone out there that will do it.

Don't think there are any combine parts, mostly crawler parts TD6, BTD6 and maybe TD9.

Haas, you are right, a lot of time consuming work for small money but hate to see it go to the scrap guy.

There are some places that specialize in NOS IH parts, that should be interested in the collection.

If time is of the essence, and this stuff is going to scrap, save it, then try to wholesale it to some place that deals in IH parts whether it's an NOS dealer or someone else.

In your first picture. Shelf in lower left appears to have parts from an IH balanced head sickle mower.

That is some good stuff there.

What is the story on why it is there, or who owns it?
