I replaced the hydraulic pump today. I tested the the pressure by dead heading a remote the gauge read 4000lbs. I removed the pilot operated main relief valve out of the bottom of the multi control valve and disassembled and inspected it and no matter where i adjust the screw on top of the plunger the remote gauge reads 4000. The book shows this valve as a unit so maybe it is not servicable. Should the screw be tightened all the way down in? any thoughts would sure help
