Lift All Pump M and H

Would anyone know if the H and M Lift-All pumps interchangeable?

Reason I ask is I have an old one I believe is out of a H. I am converting M to live hydraulics and I was thinking about (1) use the spare lift all as a hydraulic fluid tank, once insides removed or (2) use the spare one as a template and fab a hydraulic tank to about 4 or 5 gallons capacity.

AS far as i know they will not interchange.

Though very similar in look, not at all interchangeable as a unit. Someone will know if they share any parts. Jim

Ok, bad idea i guess. Suppose I will have to drop the m pump and use it as a template to fab a tank. Thanks for the replies

Say Sparky70, there was a clip on you tube, about 10 minutes long, of how a guy made a tank to fit in the belly pump, space on a H, i saved it on my old computer, but dont have it now,but that would be worth your time to see that!

Im alittle confused. (Which is easy to do.) You have a belly pump on the M now? If so, just use it as the resovoir.

Unfortunately i am good at confusing issue. My plan was to either use spare pump as res or use its demsions to fab one some larger. Anyway appears no soap, so i either us m pump or drop it and take measurements.
