How tight does sleeve fit in the oring on 113 engine, my slide in without any pressure and went u turn engine over on engine stand they fall out.sleeve botton dim is 3.312 oring od is .215-.220. Added water to block after installing sleeve & several leaked.its a tisco kit.groove is clean

You have probaly ruined some o-rings. You will need to tear it down and replace some. When installing new sleeves and pistons you need to have a head stud or two out so you can use a capscrew and washer to hold the sleeve tight until you are ready to install the head. Theres enough drag to move the sleeve untill the head is on.

The last 113 engine i rebuilt 10 year ago i had to use a block wood and hammer to drive the sleeveall way dowm.this one drop in without any pressure.like oring is to small

i would say u have the wrong o-rings. they do not slide in that easy. they take a good hand push. lubed with dish soap or brake fluid. no oil or grease.

It is a 113 block, done some checking on ih parts they listed the oring as 6.04 mm thick which is .237 my are .215-.220

Rustred when the pistons with rings are added the drag will move the sleeve. I found that out many yrs ago thats why the cap scew with washer to hold it fast until the head is installed.

Cut some EMT conduit to length. Drop it on a head stud on top of the flat washer and hold it with one of the original nuts. A couple bucks will get you a 10 foot piece. You can make a lot of useful tools before you use it up.

yes that is true, as i experinced that too. but his o-rings are too small also, the sleeves with o-rings do not just fall in the bore. it takes a push.

It does sound like the O-Rings are to small.

Mine went in by hand but you have to give them a good push to get the sleeve to seat and that's after they were soaped up.

Of course I haven't run mine yet either. :)

The #4 cylinder had enought drag to want to pull the sleeve up a bit. I just tapped it back down and quit cranking the engine over for no other purpose then my entertainment.

I hope she doesn't leak when the time comes!
