Was spraying with the same pump and booms as the last few years. I went to lift the booms and they would not lift. I could not get pressure on the sprayer. The spray pump is a hydraulic driven one. Has worked for a few years now. No heat issues. The booms are hydraulic also. They used to have an electric over hydraulic like a snow plow. Well the motor went south so just plumbed in ti the couplers on tractor. This works fine.
Now all of a sudden I can't lift the booms or get pressure in the booms for spraying. So used another tractor to fold booms by switching lines. Tract0or was leaning to the left and back a little. Oil level on stick said just under full. Got it to the house. Checked pressure to lift booms with gage. Got 1500PSI at the couplers. Hooked lines back up, and now all works fine. So what was the issue?
Booms will lift fine, they have pressure in them of 20 psi to spray with. I guess I will check the oil after dinner and see about it again.
 
On the 806 its ok to run them 2 gal overfull, that's not the problem here, but did a hyd tip or your tips malfuntion for a while and when u unhooked and rehooked them, did they get straighten out ???
 
Not sure I did think about that. I have had that happen in the past though.
New same problem. Tried them after dinner about 2:00 Pm all worked fine so wnet to the field now they open up to spray and quit again. This time I put a gage to the cylinder line at the sprayer. And only about 500 on the lift circuit and only 800 on the swing circuit.
I also can't get the sprayer pump to get up to pressure anymore with this either. It should be at 20 PSI to spray now only about 5. Not worried about that part till I get the booms working. I think what ever is causing the booms is the same issue with the pump.
 
Not sure about the problem with the 806. But changed with the 856 and now working. Still not sure if it is the tractor or the sprayer.
