stuck valve question

Went to start my W30 after sitting over the winter a couple of weeks ago and it wouldn't start.Son is home today so we towed it and it started up on only 2 cylinders. Turns out 2 cylinders had a stuck valve. I gave each valve a couple of taps and they popped up and seemed OK when I pressed on them a couple of times. I was wondering if I should spray something on the stems while I have it a part or just put it together and run it for a while. What would I spray them - just oil or something else.I only run this thing a couple of times a year as I don't think I have the pistons shimmed correctly on the crank shaft and it has no brakes.Maybe get around to fixing both this year. When it runs it runs as well as any tractor going.

I use ATF for things like sticking valve and other such parts. Been using ATF to loosen nuts and bolts and all sorts of thing that like to get hard to move

A little Auto trans fluid squirted directly on the top of the valve guide through the valve springs will be fine. Jim

Plus I figure for what it cost for a 12 oz can of PB Blaster I can buy 1 or 2 quarts of ATF and be way ahead on having a good oil that frees things up real well

I have used Sea Foams Deep Creep on the stuck valves of my F 20 that had set inside building 7 years and them loose in 2 days.
