farmall 230 casting codes

does anybody no the casting numbers on the motor and rear ends on the 230...........thanks........dewy

I got a friend with a 230 and it is 1526 J, but the transmission cover date code,12-31-E. Figure that one out.501-814 started in 1956. 815-6625 was 1957. 6827-7671 was 1958. Was that what u needed?

thanks for reply, was looking for raised casting numbers on motor behind oil filter.and trans left side by the clutch pedal..........dewy

Went out to the building this morning and checked. Casting numbers are as follows:

On engine behind oil filter 366204R1
Right axle 351112R3
Left axle 351111R3
Deck lid 351132R3
Trans behind clutch 355986R2
