Just bought a 560 no hyd have changed filter which was in bad condition and the hyd oil no change. Would the pump be the next thing to check? The power steering works okay.

There are two separate pumps behind the plate between the clutch and the rear end. There is a separate pressure valve in the block by the valves that controls the open center pump and the closed center valves,I know where the parts are but have yet to diagnosis one and to fix. My new to me 560 tractor is doing the same thing but I know that I have debris to clean out from the filter area and have not been able to get that done yet. Others with more experience will be along with the how to fix and I will be looking also at the replies. Thanks Roger

there are two pumps on the 560, power steering pump is hooked to regular hydraulic pump they are mounted to cover on left side directly opposite filter cover. When I got my 560 guy said it didn't have hydraulic filter, obviously didn't change it. I had some difficulty figuring out which filter setup to use as it has changed a couple times. Inside filter housing looked like nasty baby diaper. After getting filter setup correctly and chaning oil I still didn't have hydraulic pressure, power steering was ok but not great. Pulled pumps and mine had lots of wear so replaced with one that looked good out of parts tractor. There is a tube from the pump to housing between pump and filter that has a special O ring on it and it needs to be in correct spot on tube. There is a diagnostic procedure for both pumps in the service book. After I erplaced the pump I had about 1200 pounds at remotes. I rebuilt relief and safety valve and now have 1500 pounds.
