Rear Rims for IH 350 Utility

I own a 1957 International Harvester Model 350 Utility. I am in need of rear rims for the tires. I have attached a couple of pictures for you to see what I have. I am having a difficult time finding these rims. I believe the part number is 36346R92, but I am not certain. I would rather have used rims and hopefully in New England. My current rims are filled for added weight from what I am told. I wonder if any of you in my area have a parts tractor with these rims or supply. I am also looking for the exhaust pipe(#365970R1), muffler(365966R91GV), and tail pipe(365972R1). Mine goes under the tractor not vertical. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Unless it is a show tractor those rims are an easy fix but a guy like me or any other good welder. I have fixed many rims that your make look good. I have patched as much as a hole big enough to put your head in and bigger and they are holding up just fine and some I did over 10 years ago

I would agree with Old. I too have repaired ones like that. Its easiest if you can find another rim of the same diameter to donate some material from. I have kept an old rim around just for that.

Are you anywhere near Massachusetts Old? There are a couple of welders in my area. I did not realize they could be fixed. Thanks for your thoughts.

Been over 36 years since I was in that area. I was up in Boston back in the late 80s on the JFK.
What I do where the valve stem hole is rusted like your are is weld in a washer or 2 and that fixes them up fast and easy. I then coat the inside of the rim after a good clean up with pickup truck bed liner spray

I've got the same exhaust on my 350u. If you've still got the old pipe take it to a decent shop and have them bend you a new one. Was about $40 for the new pipe plus the cost of the muffler which I don't remember where I got it.

That is an IH part number for a generic 12x24 tractor rim with 8-bolt center. They are not unique to IH tractors.

Worst case the center can be cut out of the existing rim and welded into a new rim.

Other places to look for used: ebay, craigslist, tractor salvage yards

I fixed mine the same way Old said. I bought another rim with a huge hole rusted out at the valve stem for a $1 at a farm auction and cut a couple sections out of the "good" part of it to patch my own rims. I'm far from a good welder but with a sawzall, a 4" grinder and an old stick welder I had fairly decent looking rim when I was done. If you looked hard you could see work had been done - but you certainly wouldn't have guessed how bad they were when I started. Yours are a bit to far gone to simply weld a big washer where the valve stem is - but certainly worth replacing the rusty section.

Thanks for all the great advice. I will look into the rims. They are not leaking, but looks like they may at some point. Great idea on the exhaust pipe and muffler, thanks again. More to follow.
