656 Hydro Stuck in reverse

I have a 656 hydro that is stuck in reverse. A week ago the tractor was working fine, I drove it into the barn and parked it. One week later, I started the tractor, everyone fired up fine. I lifted the loader and moved the SR to forward, instead of going forward, I went in reverse. The book says that it could be a plugged fixed pump servo orfice, but there is nothing labeled as "fixed" in the manual. It also says it could be an o-ring but the diagrams aren't detailed enough to show them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The fixed orifice is in the piston end of the motor servo ram, requires servo disassemble to access.

A leak at the o-ring on the variable orifice where it goes in the adjustment block, or between the adjustment block and the servo could also cause this symptom.

Finally a picture that means something. Thank you! Now, that I have the left side inspection plate off and the bottom plate off, I should be able to remove this servo without having to split the
tractor, correct?

Yes, it will come out the bottom.

(quoted from post at 10:27:05 05/22/16) What book is this coming out of? Do you happen to live in NY?

I have PDFs of the IH service manuals GSS 1397 and GSS 1405.

I live in central Indiana.

Where in central In are you located? I am in Danville and I am putting my 656 hydro back together. Had Herrs redo all the rotating parts. Have a Jensales reproduction of the 1397 but some of the pics are not the best.
