I kinda want to make one too, but thought i would have it off set to the right side,so i could get from the back, left side.

I made one for an 8N Ford once. 5' wide;3' deep;2' 'bang board'.But you can make it any size you want.

Don't hardly know how to describe the dimensions of a factory metal frame, but I can tell you about the wood. All boards are 8" wide. Use three 2" thick boards for the horizontal portion and use two 1" thick boards for the front uprights. All boards should be 5' in length.

Ours came factory at 6' wide and 2' or 2 1/2' deep.Dad and my uncle made it 4' deep which makes it much, much more usable. You just have to be careful not overload it.My 300u can lift more than it takes to rear the front end off the ground.Mark

Not factory, but a plan

cut the phone line again with Charlie again. Pam is doing better but not 90%. I'm taking here to Dallas Tuesday to a spine dr. for a second opinion.

Bass, from prong tip to center of verticle down is approx 24 & 1/4". Top of prong bar to the ground is 14". Centerline of verticle down to the rear is 24.5". Top angles are 14" (2 count) and bottom angles are 23".

Measures not counting the stake pocket squares. My boards were 4' wide and uses 4x 2x6's, top boards appear to use 2x 2x8's.

Width of the prong/supports are fasthitch width, 28"+. Threaded rod is 3/4"x 31.5". Metal prong/frame size is 1 & 1/4" x 2.5".
