I posted earlier about wear on brake drum where the seal rode on it.
The shaft was 1.31", so speedy sleeve was oddball and $46 special order. I decided to clean it up the lathe. My lathe was not large enough to clamp on the outside of the drum, so I used a three jawed chuck and clamped it on the inside of the three holes in the casting. Clamping it that way was solid, but not exact enough to use a tool on it. I spun it up and used emory cloth and it cleaned up real nice. I will get that put back together today and hope that takes care of it, it not will figure something else out.
