Follow up on H repairs

The right brake seal was leaking on my Farmall H, the seal is new, but the shaft has wear.

I was thinking about a speedy sleeve, but the brake shaft will chuck up in my lathe, so will approach it that way.

You might need to use a tighter seal with the same outer Dia. to accomodate the difference in Dia. Getting it over the splines might be tight. Jim

That's what I was thinking. Don't you have to pull the top cover to roll the bull gear back, after pulling the axle housing?

Yes, you have to pull the top to get the shaft out. I don't have a pic, but there was someone on here recently who posted one of I think it was a M or something, the H is very similar. If I can find it later Ill post the link.
