Ih 2444 lowering spool spacer question

I bought a 2444 gas , not running at the time I purchased it, and
Am now almost done restoring it. I,ve have a problem with the
3 point hunting, I know all the parts, new and original went back
Into the hydraulic control, but have noticed in the "I&T Shop Service Manual" it shows and calls it a "spacer" on the Lowering
Spool, ..Was obvious that the hydraulic unit had been worked on
Before I got , this spacer is missing, and I think this is causing
The hunting issue.....

...Basically ,I'm looking for print dimensions for this spacer
As I can make one myself, anyone out there have a 2444 or a 444
Hydraulic unit apart and would be willing to send the "spacer"
Dimensions to me, help would be greatly appreciated.

Ih parts manuals don't show it properly...I&T manual does.

Thanks

Sorry, I can't help you with the dimensions.

I have a 424 with lowering to the same set point every time issues and believe it could be a broken spring in that valve but haven't got around to tearing it apart.

The part is probably still available, but you say the parts drawings are flawed.

Can you tell which part is is in the link below?

On the other hand, complete lowering valves are available from FIAT and the aftermarket, there's an aftermarket one on ebay for $67. (Auction # 190632008846.) I have though of buying one to have on hand when I tear into mine.
Parts breakdown

Bob,

I've replaced the actual "lowering spool assembly" with a new assembly.

The item in question on the IH Parts break link I believe is
Item 41.....they describe it as an o-ring, which I believe is not
Correct. If you can obtain a international shop service manual
( I&T Manual, like from Fleet Farm ) it shows that item as a spacer not an o-ring. Yes I do believe there might of been an o-ring
In the area to seal the head plate, but has nothing to do with
the actual spool assembly at that area.

If I put a little bit of hand pressure on the 3 point arms the
Hunting stops, so what ever it is , it seems it won't take much
Adjustment or spacer to fix it. I just don't want to guess when
I take it semi apart again.....is a pain, drain oil ect.

But thanks for the suggestion

Have you looked at the factory service manual? I have one but not here, I will try to remember to look tomorrow.

This interests me because of mine having problems linked to the same area.
