we went down the road about 5 miles to pick up a old john deere planter yester day also in the old shed was a b farmall
with a contental mower on it. tires are all flat and roten. sheat metal all beat to heck. motor stuck (but has a can over the exsaust) owner says that when it last run (25 years ago) it smoked and the distribter was broken. now whats it worth? iam thinking scrap price or a little more. thanks Bob

I'd say around maybe $250 if that much. As for being stuck seen that many times and in most cases a week or 3 of soaking with cylinder full of ATF they free up and are just fine. Ya not all of them will free up but many do. That is sort of how I ended up with my BA used 2 Bs and an A to build a BA

No. It is from the font to the transmission a B and then from the Transmission back it is an A so that is why I called it a BA. Now if it had an A front and B rear it would have been a AB

Beat up tin, rotten tires, stuck engine, broken parts, smoked the last time it ran 25 years ago? That tractor could be restored, but it would take a lot of time and money. A whole lot more than it will be worth when you are done with it.

To me, it sounds like a candidate for a parts tractor. Worth scrap value, no more.

I just saw a nice running B with good tires and decent tin bring $600 today at a consignment sale.
