Round up question

How long after spraying round up before you can plant. I'm spraying an old hay field and planting an open pollinated corn so I want it to green up as much as possible before spraying. I haven't bought the round up yet so I don't have the booklet that comes with it.

For best efficacy you should really wait a day, but you can go immediately.

Round up is contact killer only. Has absolutely no residual protection. I have planted corn and mixed roundup in my atrazine before so I could kill what was up but because my corn was not germinated it wasn't hurt at all.
