TD35 and TD40 similarities

Hi. I am doing up a TD40 crawler but need some parts. The front boat (casting the motor sits on) is broken where someone has tried towing it. I also need an engine manifold and clutch parts. Recently I was put onto a guy who has wrecked a TD35 and I was wondering if the parts were interchangeable?

I doubt any of those TD35 parts will fit on your TD40, the TD35 and TD40 are totally different tractors and very few parts will interchange.

They LOOK the same and that's it. they are each their own respective critter

The front tub casting is different between TD35 and TD 40. I believe the 40 casting to be different based upon having electric start. Clutch and manifold parts might interchange but lots of variances through the years. Seems like IH made upgrades about every year of TD40 production. Where are you located, parts tractors still around he Palouse. Good luck, Mike
