This site lists the S/N location as being on the left seat support. The seat is a spring type with a shock, no number there.

Engine block has FKBN 210365 on it. Anyone know which tractor & year I have?

Thanks for any help.

If that number came off the block up front if I remember right that would be the same number as the tractor serial number is so just go the the research and info area of this site and look it up and see where it fits

If the engine serial number is close to the tractor's original serial number, you have a 1947 BN. This also assumes that the engine is the original to that tractor. Early in the series (from #501 to 201,000), engine and tractor serial numbers were matching, but after 201,000 they were not, but should not have been too far apart. This coincided with the transferring of production to Louisville. A, B, AV & BN serial numbers are all interspersed. The spring and shock seat are an aftermarket change.

You have a 1947 BN built at Louisville. However since the serial is over 201000, the serial on the missing left seat support serial is not exactly the same serial as the one on the engine. Also compare the month and year on the engine and the ones on the chassis to be mostly certain it was built in 1947.
