Hi I need help with our 1066 diesel. When the tractor gets warmed up it dies and won't start until it cools down again does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? The tractor is currently sitting in a field with a blade attached to it and we need it to fill in some washouts!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Tired injection pump tricks to getting running when warm are to pour cold water over injection
pump or give it a snort of ether. I've had it before they will run fine otherwise unless you stall it

Sounds like the injection pump hydraulic head is really worn with too much clearance when hot. Time for a replacement head assembly. When the head is worn even the excess fuel cylinder is no help.
