Farmall super H stage 2 questions.

I have a couple questions on a sorta parts farmall h. It is a stage 2 but a few oddities. I know a lot can change over years and it doesn't matter but fun to think about. With a serial number of 22479j the tractor has almost all z codes except the trumpets which are y. Most codes of z are 1-4 and the y trumpets are 12 28. Is this common? Second is there a way of confirming if original engine? It says c 164 on left side which is correct. I know it doesn't matter much but just curious.

Last question is I have a set of nos sleeves Pistons that are 3 5/8 with what I call thin wall sleeves. Piston number is 366353r1b. Any chance these are right?

Awesome. I might do that. Would a rocker arm assembly from a straight h be the same as the rocker arm assembly on this super h engine?

My 1950 H has the engine number stamped into a flat right under the no. 1 spark plug, and it matches the tractor serial number.

Your numbers are OK. If the engine has y or z and the month about the same as the others it is likely the original engine. But unlike the H, the serial and engine serial are not the same for the SH.

I'm curious about the brackets and hydraulic cylinders on the frame rails and out in front. Are they the remnants of a Servis brand front mounted blade? They sure look to be.

Yes, I would say uncommon as I have only seen a couple of them. One in Kansas and one in Indiana. Do you have the actual blade? It's a pretty heavy-duty affair.

the serial number for that tractor motor would be between 25280 and 25320. It will be stamped into a raised platform on the block below #3 spark plug, just above the crank case breather. If you could reply back what the motor serial number actually is I'd be curious. What part of the country are you in ?
Thanks, Pat
