'47 M Water Pump Rebuild

Well, everyone. I have finished the water pump rebuild and have posted Part 1 and am finalizing Part 2 onto my YouTube channel. Now it is archived and out there for all to see if they ever want to tackle a water pump rebuild on their own. It really was simple, and with the people on this forum it was even easier.

I also replaced the rear seal on the governor housing where the lever and shaft slide into the governor. Also an easy task, and I go through that on the video as well. Good news is the bearings and all seem very tight on the governor, so my guess is it was taken good care of, or like the rest of the motor it was rebuilt whenever they put the 4" kit in it previously. I'm going to inspect the throttle shaft and linkages inside the governor tubes yet, but I will do that when I replace the gaskets.

Other than that, I went over to the my buddy's where the tractor is located and just did some more cleaning (wire wheeling/scrubbing the clutch housing, etc.), since it has been really nice here in MN (75 degrees in April!). Going to be a long week of work this week, so I don't know if I will get around to much tractor work. Still have yet to hear from the machine shop - but no rush because that just means I have got to give them money! :p

Here are the links for Part 1 (I'll post part two when it is finished uploading) :
