I'd like to put a tach on it, but don't know where it connects on the Early B275's. My distributor boss is not drilled so I can't put the tachometer drive. The generator doesn't have a tach drive either. (I swapped the generator for a 1 wire alternator.)

Do any of you have pics of your tachometer drives?

Thanks

I have a 1960 B275 with the Inline Vacuum governed injection pump. Do you have a pic where that drive goes? I saw the parts breakdown but not where it goes.

Could a "Early" B275 not have a machined spot for a drive? I'd think all oil pump takeoffs would be the same. Been searching for a picture for a year.

Thanks

(quoted from post at 22:03:02 04/15/16) Hi, on the newer UK build Diesel engines models BD-144 and BD-154 the tach drive was off the end of the oil pump drive shaft.

The tach drive is item #35 on the caseih.com parts, see link.
