Fuel Bowl Gasket Size

What are the dimensions of the gasket that goes in the fuel bowls of Farmall Cub, Super A, 140 tractors? I'm talking about the regular gasoline fuel bowl, not the tall ones used with older tractors or distallate models. I have a friend that is going to cut me several new ones from a sheet of cork using the gasket cutter.

Just trace the size of the glass. You could also smear a light coat of grease on it. Then set tight then remove and cut around the line.

I buy them form O'Reilly's well worth the cost Part #398. I keep a hand full of them on hand all the time just in case I need one when I clean or out the sediment bowl. That size fits all the tractor I own

I tried looking that part number up on their website and didn't come up with anything.

That's odd. Have 5 of them right in front of me. 398 Qty-1 fuel strainer gasket as per what it says on the packet. Maybe you need to try putting that in to come up with them

I could get some elsewhere but he just got this big machine that we were going to try out. I just figured someone had ordered them before and knew the measurments or had one handy to measure.

Thanks.

Your gasket size is 2 inch. I sell hundreds a year at the shows and at the shop. If you need some you can call me at 317-512-0493 or email back if you cant find any.

For my 400, the gasket was a tiny bit above 2 inches as the bowl is 2 inches round and the receiver is just a tad bigger. At least I hope it is...I just purchased 2 of them for 3 bucks a piece including tax.
