You asked a question on my posting but it has gone to page 2. I changed bushings on the steering shaft on my 560 below the steering wheel. It was pretty sloppy before but tightened up with new bushings. I assume your 460 is similar. before I worked on it the steering wheel and shaft would also move in and out. There is a locking collar on the engine side of the shaft and a washer under the steering wheel. If you put the locking collar against the bottom so there isn't the in and out motion of the steering wheel it helps. Not sure about the "screech" you asked about, the bushings may be dry. I don't think there is a greese zerk for those so you might need to just ut some oil under the wheel.
