since i was taking pic's in the morning, and it was a nice warm day, i decided to start the wd40 and go for a tour around the farm with the wd40. not too many wd40's you can just walk into the shed and give em a few cranks and its running in the winter. like about 40 degrees f. so i took a few more pic's.

haa, you noticed that! i just walked behind it for a bit and then around to the front. good eye. i liked the undisturbed snow.

thanks russ, i have big tires on this one so gonna give her a try at sangudo pulls this year, and probably leduc also. its just a nice running unit , so want to see how it performs. have a little bit of plowing i left just for this 40 to finish up with the 4/16 j.d. power lift .

good photos. good exposures setting on camera to get all that white stuff white and not zone 5 gray. oh,buy-the-way, what is all that white stuff? great looking tractor. never seeing a wd40, does it start on gas the switches over to diesel?

Nice looking late model 40. Does it change over to diesel with the timer on the pump or do the late ones let the operator do it when he wants?

Late model WD40s with the big 4 plunger pump were still automatic change over, although they could be converted to the later single plunger injection pump and when that was done, the change over from gas to diesel was manual.

That's a great machine. I love the worked look - a nice clean engine but not dressed up with lots of paint. Nice sheet metal on it. That was someone's pride and joy years ago. And probably lots of years since.
