Hello, I am looking for a decent cabover Transtar, I would like to find an Eagle, but am open to others if they are in good shape. Seems like the farmers have all the cool old stuff hiding in buildings, if have one that you would consider selling, let me know.
Picture is just a reference to what I"m looking for.

Unless you are going to use it for a farm truck, there are a lot of old conventionals, out there a lot easier to get into. It is work to climb the truck mountain every time, if you have to do it many times a day. You can buy old conventionals for about 3-5000 if you look.

LOL Drove for crete they had a guy go through orientation 350lb plus sent him for a driving test in one made it up to the second step before the hand rail pulled off truck. He Never drove but collected a check from them.

The tractor was a nice looking truck. I think the price was Very good! The big 8V-92 Detroit burned a LOT
of fuel but made good HP, bet it ran good with the 13-SPD Road Ranger.

The other truck with the grain box, surprised it had a 903 Cummins, suspect it had a 9 or 10 speed, but
I've NEVER heard of a converted road tractor being a good straight truck, especially a tilt cab.

A farmer I used to work for had 2 of the IH cabover's like the one in the pic. also had a ford cabover. I was in a lot better shape back then and it was a HUGE PAIN IN THE BACKSIDE to get in and out of them. With very limited space in the driver side especially for us "full figured " boys. Great running trucks just hard to get in and out of.
