Was going to attempt to weld this my self as the welding shop wants over a $100 to weld it. Mainly want to patch it to get it running just so we know it will run. Then plan to replace it. But, turns out there is a spare Farmall engine sitting in the back of my boss's old barn.
But it's a propane engine. Will a propane manifold will work on a gas M? I'm not even sure if the spare engine is for an M or what but it looks identical and has what appears to be a good mag. This thing has sat in that corner of the barn for the last 25 years but the motor does turn over. I'm pretty sure it was a running engine ready for engine swap on a peanut cleaner as my boss had 2 of them both powered by Farmall engines on propane.
I knew this thing was in the back of this barn but had forgotten that it was a Farmall.
Thanks guys.
Oh, and what would the plumbing have been for on the manifold in the picture?
