My brother and I are trying to construct a 1/12 scale model of a "Booster Scoop" --a cable operated front end loader originally manufactured in Dunlap IA. We made it down there, found an intact loader, took pictures and measurements and are now trying to reverse engineer the innards of the power unit. Never having seen the arrangement of the ring and pinion, we are left to guess what that might be. I am wondering if any of you Farmall fans out there can tell me *the direction of rotation of the F-20 PTO*? This information might be all we need to deduce the internal configuration of the gears --at least well enough for our purposes. You might have guessed that this loader was mounted on an F-20 that my father owned and which is gone now some 50 years. Dad is gone too but my brother and I are still here (showing some miles) and would like to get this thing done before we croak. Thanks for anything you might offer.

Clockwise. Same as all other tractor PTOs. Spins at 540,too.Never saw or heard of such a loader. Love to see pics!

Yes clockwise. The only IHC PTO that I am aware of that turned CCW is on the Farmall Cub. all others are CW to the best of my knowledge.
