Does anyone have a schematic of the oil flows for the clutch circuits and what clutches are used in what gears? Thanks in advance. J

Way to new for me , heck i have never eve been around one .Are you sayen that there is a problem ??? Sorta like the one setting down at the as we call it now the Gilford lake catalogue store , they have one of them thar fancy new tractors someone traded in with transmission problems and NOBODY knows how to solve the problem , even the factory has no idea of what is wrong with it so there it sets.

Yes there is a problem. It slips in several gears. We are looking for oil flow diagrams + stack height on clutch pacs. Where are you located? A guy that farms down the road has 2 quad tracks. You have them?

I am in N/E Ohio . Now i do not know anybody around here that has something that big, we do have a few bigger 4 wheel dives starting to show up . But for the most part most farms are on the smaller side . I know i will never have to work on one as my knowledge stops with the early 86 , after that your on your own. won't mind spending a day in one working ground just to say yea i ran one of them. One year i was the proud owner of a 1805 Massey and a set of 880 Massey 7 bottom onland plows and borrowed a 24 foot disc to work my massive 68 acres of corn ground . I think i spent more time hooking up and driving to the fields then i spent in the fields . what took me a week of in the evening plowing and two days discing was all done in a day and a half. On less fuel then i would have used with my 706.

I am on the northwest side of Ohio. Most of the farms here are small here as well. This guy is on the Ohio/Michigan state line.

Before dad retired his last set of tractors for land leveling was stx 480s and they ALL slipped between gears. Every year. Dealer checked em, even the president of case ih global came out. Nothing ever changed and there was an awful growling sounds between every gear. Never had a transmission problem except for 1 tractor in 5 years and they were booked to 17 and 20 yard scoopall dirt buckets. Don't know what the deal was all we know is we only had 1 tranny replacement. and in that line of work only 1 is very rare in 5 years of service.
