Super H questions

Have noticed in some pictures of the Super H's that most have the IH emblem on the front of tractor but have seen a few with the emblem that just says Farmall like on the older letter series tractors. Did they come out with both emblems or only the IH type with the other not being correct for that model tractor. Secondly saw on a video that all Super Hs were put together and shipped from the Louisville Harvester Works. Is that true. Just curious

There are several reasons. These tractors are over 60 years old now. A lot of H tractors received "upgrades" consisting of oversized pistons and thinner sleeves and Super H decals. Some of the tractors just got the decals. Those are still model H tractors. Some of the tractors got parts switched around. You need to look at the engine casting and the tractor serial number to know what you are actually getting, and be aware they might not match either.

Super H's ALL had the IH grill emblem, none had the FARMALL emblem. All Super H's built at FARMALL in Rock Island, Illinois. Only 50 Super M's built a day at LVL from parts shipped from FARMALL, and FARMALL built 325 more Super M's every day. So FARMALL built as many Super M's in three days as LVL built in a month!
