Thought I read something about this awhile ago but haven't been able to find it in a post.
Question: When splitting a tractor with frame rails (i.e. farmall M) what do you need to do to support the rear of the engine? I thought I read somewhere that you need to re-install a bolt on each side thru the engine plate or leave the locating pin in.
2nd question: If I am taking the rear engine plate off to repair the rear main seal, how do I support the rear of the engine? Or at that point do you just take the engine out of the frame rails?
Getting ready to do this and don't want to make things worse by breaking things.
