farmall 404 pto not workin

lookin on craigslist ,fellow said pto is not workin.....what normally tears up on that style power take off..thanks yall......dewy

It's BROKEN , so to find out one must buy it and take it apart and see what is broken as it could be this or it could be that or maybe something else.

i noticed it had a set screw in the shifter fork on the pto diagram...is there a pin in the to sheer.....just seein if they were famous for anything.......thanks yall.....dewy

Not that i am aware of . they are sort like a cub - h- m deal . Maybe something vary simple and cheap to repair and able to be done is just min. OR it may requiring hours
