Well guys I ended up getting the IH 756 and now looking for a tillage tractor. Got a 1586 gonna sell at auction. What are your thoughts? Thanks

The two biggest complaints I hear are the doors opening the way they do make it awkward and the shift levers are in the way...so both complaints mostly have to do with getting in and out. Neither bothers me too much. Just a little clumsy. Mine has dual PTO on it. I keep the duals on all the time. I have ground that tend toward the heavy and wet in the Spring...keep that in mind for the rest of this. It pulls a 9 shank Glencoe soil saver and my 20 foot folding disk without any issue. My IH 720 6-18 on land plow works fine in the drier places but can be a little more than she wants in the heavy wet spots. A real joy to pull under normal conditions though. Pulls the 8 row Cyclo planter like easily. And on occasion I have been known to run 100' of chain into the woods and around a dead ash tree. Yanks those right out of the ground. Nice tractor...but older now so make sure you do the maintenance.

That sounds about what I'll be pulling. Have a 20' disk and 24' cultivator. Been around that backwards doors and they don't bother me, better than John Deere's quarter circle door. Went and looked at it today. Runs and drives nice. Only has three gears instead of four but Probly won't matter much. Has 9,100 hours and doesn't really show it besides front steering is loose.
