I'm going over to a older guys house on Saturday to replace the manifold on his M for him. Anything special I should know? The only thing that I can think of is being careful not to break off a head stud or bolt. Just wondering.

If you remove the carb, make sure the tang gets back in the slot, if you know what I mean. On just manifolds I try to leave the carb
attached to the gov tube, but usually end up just taking off the carb.

You got new bolts, nuts, and Gaskets, make sure you have the factory washer to apply the pressure. Also should have a tap with to clean out the old holes.
