I am looking for a front end loader assembly to install on my Farmall 560. Anyone know of one available near NE Ohio. I have found someone willing to sell me one from a Farmall M. Does anyone have any idea if it will fit. It is described as a Humboldt rope type made by Silbaugh Mfg. HUmboldt Iowa. thanks!

measure everything if the seller doesn't know if it will fit... width of the tractor... where the bolts line up, length of assembly, etc.

I fit a loader to my 340 that the seller didn't know would fit or not by just measuring everything and making 2 new brackets for the front of the tractor.

Thanks! Only remaining question is whether I should have him remove t from the M its on, for $550, and then have to fit it to my 560, or buy the whole tractor (asking $2450) which he represents runs excellent and all guages work. Don't know how many hours. But I might could use a spare tractor.

Do you know what a "rope trip" loader means? Is that how you tip the bucket in whatever position you raise it to?

A 'rope trip' is simply a mechanical latch that lets you dump the bucket. You pull a rope to dump.Normally there is only one
position. The angle cannot be adjusted.Depending on the loader,550 is a bit steep on price.

i am thinking that kind of money should get a hydraulic loader. Tha t whole package is too high in my opinion

Seems like for that price I would save my money and look for a IH 2001 or IH 2000 loader. Much more loader and either will fit a 560. I have a 2001 on my 666. It has the single dump cylinder. A 2000 will have double dump cylinders.
