Anybody use a Fast-Hitch 3 point adapter?

I need to get an adapter for my 400. I have an early fast hitch so adding a top link bracket may be a little hard for me to fabricate. What works better, just the two seperate 3 point prongs with a top link bracket mounted to the tractor, or the other type that has the top link bracket attached to the prongs? I can't find either close to home so I want to make sure I get one that I will like before I make the decision to go after one.

Yea i use them on my 806 , i use to build them . Made strong enough to pull a five bottom plow with and mine were adjustable from Cat 1 to cat 2 just by moving one bolt on each side and swing the arms a little and replacing the bolt .

I use the factory IH one piece U shaped piece on everything except my one row planter because I needed a regular top link for that to add or take away down pressure on the press wheel. other than that I have purchased the enough factory adapters that I mount the adapter to the three point implement and leave them on there.

I have a one piece one and it works fine. I also have some of the individual points, but seldom use them. I have a 400.

Not sure who made it, but this has worked good on my 560

Thanks for the replies everybody. I think I'm going to start hunting for the 1-piece type. Closest I have found so far is about 4 hours away

I have one very similar but it's in need of some repairs to the lower connection points and the top is totally missing. Do you have any close up pictures of the top link area or the lower connections? Thank you, Sam

I built a 3-point conversion for our IH 340U, worked great! It had individual lower arms, so I could back up to within 3 inches of and implement, pull the arms out and hook them up, and then get on the tractor and back up to latch. Much easier than a standard 3-point.

I have the same one shown in the picture from "Mark (EC,IN)". I also have two sets of paired individual prongs. One set has a slight offset to them and the ball swivels in the end to change category of hitch. The other set is straight and is strictly the Cat I hitch. The one pictured is the easiest to use but there are times when the others just work better. So I keep them all and use whatever works easiest in a given situation. I have a LOT of hitched equipment in 2 and 3 pt so the more options I have the better.

Zane I have adaptors both ways , that said I prefer using a welding machine and install fast hitch prongs on implements that don't have them. I will sell an adaptor or prongs.
