farmall supec hitchs

i bought a 1953 farmall super c that i plan on fixing up then selling. it only has a standard drawbar on it now but it has a rockshaft of some sort on top. my freind has a complete 3 point hitch for $225, but then my other freind has a complete factory fast hitch for $200-250. which would make the tractor more valuable? im thinks 3 point. also this tractor is in all original condition so the paint is gone. would it be worth it to paint it or just let the next owner paint it? thanks

Put the 3 point on it, spend the LEAST amount of money on it if going to sell, it is usually hard to make any money on fixing up and selling.

Clean it up, but don't paint it. Work clothes are OK. If you painted it properly you could never sell it and make money. Fix things that are falling off of it, or broken and obvious. They are a hard sell for newbe land owners because they do not have live PTO. They are a very handy yard and raking tractor. Jim.

i like the 2 point better than the 3 point; however today's market is 3 point. go with the 3 point. fix it to a running and operational condition. Charlie is in work clothes and he can still plow the mustard, and beans, and tators . . . . . ..ect

Put the fast hitch to keep it original new buyer can add what ever he wants if he wants 3pt. Your rockshaft mite be for the moldboard plow without fast hitch.
