Farmall Cub Planter Chain Size

what is the size of chain that a Farmall Cub planter (mid-mount) uses? I know it is called "Flat Detachable Chain" but don't know the correct size. I need to order some new chain from Shoup because that old chain seems worn out and stretched.

(quoted from post at 19:49:48 11/24/15) I believe it is #32. Tractor Supply usually has it in the stores.

Shoup claims theirs is American Made chain....not sure if it matters with this item.

Jim, I asked at TSC and they told me they don't stock #32. I found it on line I think the guy calls him self (Farm Chain).

I obtained some link chain recently for one of my restoration projects from CaseIH which was made in the USA. It was certainly very nice in construction and quality as compared to farm store chain made across the pond which was very crudely made with excessive free slop between links. There was certainly a difference in my observation and the CaseIH chain was actually less expensive as they sold it off a spool (the number of links actually required along with the connector links) and didn't have to buy the whole 10 foot roll like the farm store was selling it, Hal.

The planter and fertilizer unit drive chain size are the same for the Farmall CUB and 140, 130, 100. and Super A tractors.
If you Google "farmall cub planter drive chain" you will find numerous choices.
Typically new drive chain comes in 10 foot roles.

Hope this is of some help
