Beefing up the seat on a super c?

(quoted from post at 15:48:43 11/14/15) How would a man go about stiffening up the seat on a super c?
do you have any side to side wobble? i replaced the bushing on mine and put some big washers between bushings and housing and it took alot of the side to side wobble out. the wife likes the bounce on the seat too. makes a more comfe ride for here; she has back and neck problems.

New spring ,shock and new rubber bushings at the pivot point. I did this to my M and 450 and no more bottoming out of seat . The 450 ride a little stiffer than I like and I weighed 250 lbs. at the time I replaced them.

I put 2 sets of rubber bushings in mine. I mow about 60 acres with a rotary mower of rough ground and sand. I finally had a set of bronze bushings made at work and added the washers as suggested. That took the wobble out of it and it works great now. I put a brand new spring on it when I first got it and it all works great now.

The man that owned this tractor had taken a shock with a spring on it from a ski on a snowmobile and mounted under the seat.

When I bought my 450 somebody did the same to it. I weighed 250 lbs. at the time and it road to stiff and very little travel. The spring is not setting right it shouldn't be tipped like that and that is caused because that shock with spring is to long.
