ok you corn belt farmall people, do y'all have a standard row width and seed spacing up there? dad and I always planted on a 32-34" row spacing so he says and looking at the old photos about 6" seed spacing. that seems a little far after looking at my old photos; however, we always got a soil test from the extension service and planted accordingly. generly 400lbs 12-12-12 per acre at planting, and 150lbs of 34-0-0 with the last plowing.

maybe wrong page, but always get good advice from y'all.

thanks

Bass, how many bushels per acre do you want,i don't farm anymore, but i think it's 1.1 lb of Nitrogen per bushel, i am one cash rent now! but the guy that farms my land they put 3 gal, liquid N per acre right on the corn seed, the rest goes to the side. But corn will not tolerate any P205 on the seed, whatsoever.
