Farmall 300

Anyone have some ideas of the value of a Farmall 300 with a loader? I know where there is one that they are supposedly asking $2500 for, good paint and tires, Has been under cover most of its life. I haven't seen it but I want to have some idea of what it is worth before I go. I think it is supposed to be a 1967 model. It is in Maine.

They aren't to far out of line. I've seen several in NE Kansas sell for about that price (maybe a little cheaper at times) without the loader. While many will scoff at the old trip bucket loaders these usually have they are still many times better than a wooden handled shovel.

That seems like a fair price to me. Do you know what loader is on it. Power steering is almost a necessity with a loader/

A new set of rear tires and tubes will set you back by about $1,600 minimum, so if the tires are good, $2,500 is not out of line.

I have a 350 wide front with an IH 2000 loader and no power steering. As long as you're moving
even a little bit the steering effort isn't too bad. You sure can't crank the wheel setting still
with a full bucket, though.

I bought a 300 with the options noted below, bad tires and stuck engine for a $1000 bid, $1188 out the door at an auction. It needed some work but it has been a great tractor these last 3 years and I would think paying $2500 for a good one would be within the bounds of reason.

I bought mine in 1995 with TA, live PTO, power steering, two point (class 3 or the one for large points), new starter and battery, with chains, heat houser, a two point fully mounted C-24-P seven foot bar sickle mower and a home made 8 foot HEAVY blade for the loader. Paint was ok at the time even though he had painted it with a brush. It was a 1957 with fair tires on it. It had only one owner and the owner furnished the original delivery check off list and owners manual. I paid $3500 at that time. Since then I have put on new front tires and just put new 8 ply 12.4 x 38 rear tires on this March for $1000. It and the loader also have been repainted since then.
