I picked up this Farmall H not long ago. Runs but the rear transmission case is badly cracked. She will be going to the shop this winter.

Where are you in VT? That will make for a good winter project. I knew a woman off Rte 30 in Sudbury that had one like that.

I am in Goshen, east of Brandon by 5 miles. In my youth I had a lot of seat time on the "H" and rebuilt one for my FIL. They were a dependable machine.

Nice looking H needs nothing. Now why does everybody have the wheels turned out backwards. I like them with the casting dished towards the tractor . They take a lot less shed space. I am guessing it is a row spacing thing. We are set for 30" rows so need to be turned dish in. I have never turned one over set with the narrower setting. have worked on some pretty steep slopes too.
