So the I-T manual does not have a picture of where the bleeder is on this tractor. Ya it says about where they are so any body have a picture of them?? Do they look like the normal brake bleeders?? Have to go and see if I can find the brakes on a 584 tomorrow and sure would be nice to know a tad bit more then I do right now.
Thanks

They are on top of each rear axle housing, they look like a normal automotive brake bleeder, might be hard to see since fuel tank is on top. There is just enough room to get a wrench in to open and close them.

I remember they are 7/16ths and one side is harder to reach than the other, not too hard to find.I thought I used a socket and extension on one side. You also have to pinch off a return hose below the dash behind the panel.Mark

Ya the I-T manual talks about pinching of the return line I figure that can be done with vise grips. Hope the clear hose I got will work guess I'll find out later today

And once you find the bleeder, throw away any of your prior experiences of bleeding brake systems. The reason to pinch the hose is to build a little pressure in the line as it is oil cooler return oil that keeps the brake reservoir filled. Brakes are manual, no power assist.. You do not use the pedals to bleed (except for bleeding the brake cyl them selves which is not usually necessary). Open the bleeder with hose on it and let a bunch of fluid run right back into reservoir through the hose with fairly high rpms.
