Henry Backhoe/loader

I have what I believe is a Henry backhoe/loader combination on a 300 Ute. It has the hydraulic pump mounted in front of the engine. I believe it had this setup for the life of the tractor. I want to scrap the hoe & keep the loader. Can the loader operate independent of the hoe & was the loader any good (did they have a good reputation/would it be worth keeping)? Thanks. Mick

I can't answer your questions exactly but will say this, I have a CONE brand front loader and backhoe on 1 350 U.
The power steering does not work, SO, having the backhoe on makes it drivable at least. I have another 300 U with just the front loader and it can be a real armful to get it to turn. Should you ever need a hole, it will be worth far more to you then the scrape money.
