Tapered Bolt Sources (Lug & Implement)

* Apparently my original posting didn't show up correctly for some reason.

Just curious if anyone knew of any sources for the "special" tapered bolts used for the Front & Rear Lug Bolts on alot of Farmall Tractors (ie. Super A, 100, 130, 140, 424-D, Cub, etc) and the Implement mounting bolts that are tapered too.
As most of you have seen in some of my posts, I like to stock up on stuff and get the best deal possible so I can stock up. I know CASE/IH dealers still have the lug bolts (at $4.25 each) and external link has them (at $2.75 each). I would like to order 50 of them to have on hand and some for a current project. Anyone seen or know where these can be had for a better deal? I use the implement mounting bolts alot and it would be nice to find those at a supplier as well.
THANKS!

Jim I called myself looking on both of those websites but didn't find anything.

I have taken regular hex bolts and turned a bevel under the head in a lathe. You loose some of the hex but they work. You can also make beveled washers.

I have lots of these bolts in my inventory most of them are buried in several 100 lb buckets full of bolts. I usually don't advertise stock like this due to the low sales price and amount of time it takes to merchandise the product.

It probably doesn't help you much but I get mine from an Amish
neighbor who sells Pioneer running gears and equipment. 45¢ and
65¢ depending on size.

If these you speak of are the same style as the original ones, then I would be interested. I could either purchase from you or the Amish guy who sells them. I'm sure you or he wouldn't mind shipping them, correct? Please let me know!

I've looked at McMaster and Fastenal and haven't found anything like them. What is the proper name for these type bolts? Maybe I'm not searching correctly

I think these are the correct lub bolts for Super A. I assume they are the same for cub.

I ordered some of the tapered bolts from Shoups. I'll let you all know how they work on my Super A. Also, here is a site that has grade-8, square-head bolts that I think would work for the hub-to-rim bolts on Farmall rear wheels.

This is what the bolts from Shoups look like relative to the originals on my Super A. While the new ones look quite different from the original, the receiving hole on the hub is deep enough to accommodate the deeper bevel on the new bolts. I used them and it seems to be fine.
