My tractor is in mint condition, I converted it to 12v, when its running it runs great but it is so hard to start, it floods out easy and I run the battery down, been thinking about selling it but don"t want to because I inherited it from my Dad who passed last July 24th, please help me keep it.

Are you shutting off the gas when the tractor isn't used? Try starting it with the gas shut off
and if it starts open the gas shutoff. Have a helper make an attempt to start the engine while you pull off a plug wire and hold it away from the plug about a 1/4". See if there's a hot blue
fire from the plug wire. Your coil may be getting weak. Hal

First of all we need to know what kind and model of tractor you have and then we can steer you in the right direction for help. Sounds like a Carb problem.
