Drove the 1952 Super C today that my Dad purchased new in 1952. It has been out of the family and I got it back, and I drove it more than I had in 50 years. Anyway two problems:
1) Seems to miss a bit. I had put new plugs, but I assume maybe new points and spark plug wires might be in order. What "tests"t should I use to determine what to do before I start throwing money at parts?
2) Once it is warmed up, it does not seem to want to idle down much. Is there a weak spring somewhere; carb need adjustment, or what?
Advise welcome, although I know it can be hard to make a diagnosis long distance. Thanks in advance.
