Thanks for all previous help, I have more questions. How do I check output from generator to see that it is charging battery (6 volt generator). How do you pulorize th 6 volt generator? If you can help it would be appreciated. On the battery negative goes to starter positive goes to frame.

| Use a volt meter set on dc volts and with the engine at 1/2 throttle or better measure your charging voltage across the battery terminals. Should see about 7.2 volts. Hal
