I ran my John Deere 310 C low on fuel (the fuel gauge was not working when I purchased). I put on a new filter, bled the line and then loosend what I thought was a bleed screw on the injection pump. With that screw loose (and fuel leaking), the tractor starts and runs good, but when I tighten the screw, the tracotr looses power and dies. What am i doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

Did you bleed the air from the filter, should be a Bleed screw on top of fuel filter housing. Crack it open and pump the manual pump until fuel comes out. Make sure priming pump handle is pushed back towards the engine when your done priming.
